About the event
Best suited for ages 2-12, this morning, parents and guardians, (or aunts and uncles, cousins, whoever you love!) can bring the kids out for a relaxing couple of hours spent creating and being their silly selves!
The Project:
Watercolour and mixed media piece focusing on learning to layer elements to build a realistic (or not so realistic lol) water scene evoking the feelings you get when you go spend a day by the pool. Younger children will be invited to finger paint with watercolours if they choose, and older students will learn about masking and texturizing techniques for creating with watercolours. Parents will be invited to help their child dream up funny pool toys, floaties, beachy umbrellas, and all manner of paraphernalia one may see around the pool.
